Non-Surgical Cosmetic Smile Lift for Patients in the Waxhaw, NC Area

Cosmetic Smile ImprovementsConfidence. Beauty. Success. What does your smile say about you? Changing your smile can almost instantly change the way you feel about yourself, give you more confidence, and greatly improve your self-esteem.

A healthy, beautiful smile can make you look years younger and positively impact your relationships. A radiant smile is the true symbol of youth, health, and vitality. We offer several options for our patients who want to look younger, smile brighter, and feel their best.

Smile Makeover

A smile make-over involves careful consideration of your facial appearance, skin tone, hair color, teeth, gum tissue, and lips to obtain a customized result. Many different cosmetic and restorative procedures can help create the gorgeous, healthy smile you have always dreamed of. During a smile make-over, Dr. Banchik addresses the following concerns and custom designs the treatment options in order to improve our patients’ appearance:

Tooth Color: With age, teeth can darken or turn yellow from tobacco, wine, coffee, tea, or certain medications. Silver (amalgam) fillings can cause teeth to become gray and discolored. To improve the color of your teeth, you may be able to whiten them or have porcelain crowns or veneers applied. Old silver fillings can be replaced with tooth colored composite restorations.

Tooth Shape: As we age, teeth get shorter, and can chip or break, making the smile look worn out and dull. Many different restorative options are available to recreate the youthful beauty of your smile, including porcelain crowns, veneers, and composite fillings.

Tooth and Smile Alignment: If your teeth are mis-aligned, crowded, or “gappy”, you may choose to straighten them through Invisalign invisible braces, porcelain crowns, or veneers in order to obtain that youthful, beautiful smile.

Missing Teeth Replacement: If you have missing teeth, or wide spacing between the teeth, you may choose to replace them through dental implants, bridges, or dentures. Many times filling the empty spaces in the mouth can result in greater support for the facial structures, resulting in a younger, healthier appearance.

The Non-Surgical Cosmetic Smile Lift

As we age, the teeth get shorter and shorter, the smile collapses and the nose and chin move closer and closer to each other. The result is wrinkles and folds that appear around the cheeks and the mouth. With a smile rejuvenation procedure, your natural tooth length is added back to your smile, and your face naturally opens up. Almost instantly, years of wrinkles and lines disappear, and your lips appear fuller. This procedure can often be performed in just two visits, and requires no recovery time – you will be back to your normal routine the very same day. Your friends will be amazed by the younger, more radiant you!

The non-surgical smile lift is a unique offering from Dr. Banchik that can help take years off your face, give you an outstanding new look, and increasing your self-confidence. Take a look at our article in Las Vegas Woman here, and call us at (980) 500-3999 today to learn more.

Porcelain Crowns

Crowns, or “caps”, are placed to preserve teeth that have been damaged structurally or undermined by extensive decay. They are also placed after a tooth has had a root canal because the tooth becomes non-vital and, therefore, extremely brittle, so the crown is placed to protect that tooth from fracture. Crowns are also placed in areas where veneer coverage would be deemed insufficient to obtain the desired esthetic effect.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells of tooth-colored ceramic material placed over the surface of the tooth. Learn more about porcelain veneers here.

Laser Cosmetic Gum Contouring

Laser gum reshaping or gum contouring is used to reshape excess or uneven gum tissue, resulting in a youthful, healthy, esthetically pleasing appearance for your smile. It is performed under local anesthesia, and has minimal post-operative recovery time.
